Ms. Valk graduated cum laude from Marist College in 2000, earning a B.A. in Political Science. While there, she was a member of the Alpha Chi and Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Societies. In 2003 she graduated with Dean’s List honors from St. John’s University School of Law, where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary. Ms. Valk is the author of “Good News Club v. Milford Central School: A Critical Analysis of the Establishment Clause as Applied to Public Education,” published in 17 St. John’s Journal of Legal Commentary 347 (2003).
Ms. Valk is admitted to practice in the state courts of New York and New Jersey, the Federal Courts for the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey, and the United States Court of Appeals for 2nd Circuit.
